Ronda Rousey Kicking My A** Was An Honor, Says WWE Star
This WWE star recently praised former WWE and MMA star Ronda Rousey.
Ronda Rousey joined WWE from MMA in 2018 and was positioned as a major threat.
Going into WWE, Rousey was an Olympic Bronze Medalist and UFC fighter. She was a feared wrestler, but one WWE star who bravely stood up to her was WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella.
Bella returned froma neck injury in 2018 and questioned whether Rousey was really interested in WWE or whether she was simply there to steal the spotlight from other stars in the division who helped shape it. This started a feud that ended with Bella losing to Rousey at Evolution 2018.
Nikki Bella Recalls When Ronda Rousey Slammed Her Hard
Speaking to Logan Paul on his IMPAULSIVE podcast alongside twin sister Brie, Nikki recalled how painful it was to get slammed by Ronda Rousey but also called it “an honor”.
When Ronda kicked my a**, it was like an honor. I’ve never been slammed so hard in my life. (36:06)
This came after Nikki spoke about being eliminated by the Bougie Bully Lash Legend in the women’s Royal Rumble match on January 31st. She said that she would rather have a big star eliminate her than not.
