Roman Reigns Registers Spectacular Win At Clash In Paris
Roman Reigns faced a massive challenged at Clash in Paris PLE.
The crowd in Paris was hyped for the Original Tribal Chief, as “Roman…Roman Reigns” chants were heard even as Bronson Reed made his way to the ring with ‘The Oracle’ Paul Heyman.
Wade Barrett on commentary conveyed similar sentiments, as he said, “This man walks on water in this industry.”
Reigns carried the early momentum, but lost it while attempting to lift the 330-pound Auszilla.
The physicality of Bronson Reed was on full display, as he thwarted several retaliation attempts from the former Undisputed WWE Champion, even hitting his own Samoan Drop.
Reed tried to steal a third pair of Reigns’ shoes, wasting precious time, which rightfully cost him the advantage.
His upper hand lasted for a brief period, as Reed retaliated with a Senton, followed by a Death Valley Driver.
Roman Reigns Seals Victory In Style
The 37-year-old Australian star exhibited tremendous agility, at one point wiping out Roman Reigns with a running Suicide Drive through the ropes to the outside.
Roman Reigns, who had previously attempted the Samoan Drop, executed it from the second rope, and followed it with a Spear for the victory.
As Paul Heyman checked on a fallen Reed, Reigns re-entered the ring and asked him for his stolen shoes back. He then choked Heyman out with a Guillotine.
