Roman Reigns has given his opinion on why he runs his mouth when it comes to his fellow WWE superstars.

As a 5-time WWE World Champion who has the longest title reign of the modern era, Roman Reigns is undoubtedly one of the greatest WWE superstars of all time.

After winning the Men’s WWE Royal Rumble in Riyadh for the second time, Reigns will extend a record that he has, which may never be broken.  As the Royal Rumble winner, Roman Reigns earned the right to challenge for the WWE or World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 42.

On Raw in Philadelphia, Roman Reigns announced that he would challenge CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 42 for several reasons, but one of the main reasons is that he doesn’t like Punk.

That match between Punk and Reigns will likely be the WrestleMania 42 Sunday main event, and it will be Reigns’ 11th WrestleMania main event, which is extending a record he already has. At 40 years old, Reigns certainly could add to it in the future as well.

In a Vlog on WWE’s YouTube channel, Reigns explained why he has no problem criticizing the creative team or even his fellow WWE superstars.

“This is what we do, man. We talk s**t and then we find a way to find that solution and it usually happens out there [in the ring]. Nobody who has been here for a long time has thin skin. You just learn, that’s just what it is.

We’re all thick skinned alphas here. You’re going to hear a lot of stuff, you’re going to hear a lot of jabs here and there. When it comes to it, I’m the slyest with it. I’ll sit there and pepper you without you even knowing. But nah, it is what it is.”

Roman Reigns Has Earned The Right To Say What He Wants

As he continued, the Original Tribal Chief Reigns claimed that he had earned his spot, and nobody gave it to him.

“When you’ve been here and you’ve done what I’ve done, you built that equity to share your opinion. I shit I think and the shit I say matters, you know what I mean? I earned that.

Nobody gave it to me, I had to take it. It wasn’t easy. That’s what everybody thinks. It’s, ‘oh, he’s gone’ — it was not easy when I got here. John Cena, Randy Orton, Big Show, Kane, sweetheart but still, I had to pry this shit from the grips of the veterans. Nobody else did it but me. I say what I want.”

While critics of Roman Reigns may argue with his opinion of himself and mock his part-time superstar, it’s clear that the Tribal Chief is never lacking confidence.
