Liv Morgan shocked the entire wrestling world when she took down WWE legend John Cena with one blow… a low blow.

At Survivor Series: WarGames 2025, the then-Intercontinental Champion John Cena put his title on the line against The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio.

In the closing moments of the match, Liv Morgan, who had been absent for months due to a shoulder injury, made a surprise return and altered the whole direction of the match.

She pretended to be upset with Dominik Mysterio and slapped him, hinting that she had turned babyface, only for it all to be a ruse.

Seconds later, she hugged John Cena but then low-blowed the WWE legend to tip the scales in Mysterio’s favor. Mysterio capitalized on the situation and pinned Cena to become the WWE Intercontinental Champion.

WWE Unreal Shows Liv Morgan’s Backstage Conversation With John Cena After Low Blow

WWE released Season 3 of Unreal on Netflix on July 21. The latest season covers Cena’s farewell run. A segment on the show features Liv Morgan and John Cena’s backstage interaction after Cena’s match at Survivor Series.

Liv Morgan can be seen asking if Cena was alright after she had low-blowed him. Cena assured her that he was completely fine.

Morgan asked Cena, “Are you okay? I didn’t know if I hurt your b**ls. I was nervous.”

In another clip from the segment, Morgan expressed her excitement about getting to share the ring with one of the icons of the wrestling world.

Morgan told the camera, “Loved it…Loved it. I pulled no punches. I went straight for it. Bam.”

John Cena retired from pro wrestling in December 2025 at the hands of Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio are scheduled to wrestle at SummerSlam next month. Morgan will defend her Women’s World Championship against Iyo Sky, while Mysterio will take on Danhausen in a one-on-one match.
