Charlotte Flair Wants Romantic Storyline In WWE, But Not With THIS Superstar

Charlotte Flair has just made a surprising revelation.

Charlotte Flair is widely regarded as one of the greatest female performers in WWE history. During the course of her career, Charlotte has had a dominant singles where she won multiple World Titles.

However, the fans have always rejected her push despite her athletic ability. Hence, Charlotte has spent the past year in a tag team with Alexa Bliss. They even found success by winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. As a tag team, Charlotte and Alexa have managed to win over the fans. This is due to their fun dynamic that has brought out a different side of The Queen. While Charlotte has accomplished a lot in this industry, there are still some things she has yet to tick off her bucket list.

During a recent appearance on WFAN, Charlotte Flair revealed that she has never been involved in a romantic storyline or been put opposite a male character.

“I’ve never been involved in like a romantic storyline or have been opposite a male character. So I think that would be cool.”

The interviewer then asked her if she would consider doing a romantic storyline with Cody Rhodes or if there was somebody else she had in her mind. The Queen replied that with Cody, it would be more about legacy and power than romance. She also highlighted the similarities she has with the American Nightmare. Therefore, their pairing would be more about dominance than a love angle.

“If it was Cody, I think that would be more about legacy and power versus romance.

Second generation. His dad coached me, taught me, and then kind of the characters are similar in some ways. Yeah. But it would be more for dominance and power, kind of more of an authority, right, versus a love angle. It would not end well either.” [H/T Ringside News]

Alexa Bliss wants her and Charlotte Flair to be added to the SummerSlam title match

WWE announced a ladder match at SummerSlam 2026 to crown an Interim WWE Women’s Champion since Rhea Ripley is out with an injury. Therefore, Alexa Bliss took to social media to urge Triple H to add her and Charlotte Flair to the ladder match at SummerSlam.

“Put Charlotte & I in the ladder Match – id compete With one arm. Twisted Queens are worthy of the spotlight @MsCharlotteWWE”
