Adam Pearce Makes Blockbuster Announcements Ahead Of WWE RAW, Seth Rollins & More Involved

Following WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event at Madison Square Garden, New York, the next stop on the Road to SummerSlam is Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan, which will host the July 20 edition of WWE Raw.

Ahead of the Monday Night show, WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce logged onto his X account to give a mini preview to the fans.

In his video, Adam Pearce revealed that Seth Rollins will kick off the flagship show this week to address the crowd and “he has something to get off his chest.”

Rollins, at WWE SNME on July 18, tried to blindside the Original Tribal Chief and stomp his face on a chair. But his SummerSlam opponent turned the tables on him.

Pearce then announced that the number 1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship, Chad Gable, will appear on the show ahead of his SummerSlam match against Penta for the title.

Gable earned the title opportunity by beating Dominik Mysterio, Dragon Lee, Ethan Page, Je’Von Evans, Joe Hendry and Rusev in a Gauntlet match on the July 13 episode of Monday Night Raw.

Jacob Fatu vs LA Knight Announced for WWE Raw 07/20

Adam Pearce added that Danhausen, who beat JD McDonagh at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event with the help of NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns, will also be on the show.

Lastly, Pearce announced that LA Knight and Jacob Fatu will be in action against each other on WWE Raw (July 20). The last time the two faced each other in a singles match was at WrestleMania 41, where Fatu defeated Knight for the WWE United States Championship.

As of now, there is one match and three segments confirmed for WWE Raw. Pearce also said that there will be “so much more” to see on tonight’s show.
