Roman Reigns Or Cody Rhodes? World Champion Allegedly Losing Title At WWE Clash In Italy

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes will enter WWE Clash in Italy as world champions, but one of them is allegedly set to leave without his title.

The OTC has been feuding with his cousin, Jacob Fatu, over the past few weeks. The two real-life Bloodline members went head-to-head for the World Heavyweight Championship at Backlash.

Although Reigns emerged victorious, it was The Samoan Werewolf who had the last word, leaving his cousin lying on the mat following a post-match attack.

While Adam Pearce nearly fired Fatu for his actions, attacking WWE officials at Backlash, the former United States Champion challenged Reigns to a Tribal Combat at Clash in Italy, which The OTC accepted. If The Samoan Werewolf loses, he would have to either acknowledge his cousin as The Tribal Chief or get fired from WWE.

Cody Rhodes Will Battle Gunther At WWE Clash In Italy

Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes is set to defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Gunther at Clash in Italy. The two have been going back and forth on SmackDown over the past few weeks.

The two superstars went head-to-head only once at Crown Jewel two years ago. The American Nightmare emerged victorious and captured the Crown Jewel Title.

Speaking on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE analyst Sam Roberts gave his predictions for Clash in Italy. He claimed Reigns would retain his title while Rhodes would lose his to The Ring General.

We got Roman vs. Jacob in Tribal Combat. I’ve gotta believe Roman Reigns is gonna win. I have to believe. Like I said, Cody Rhodes and Gunther. I think you’re looking at Gunther winning the WWE Championship. [1:01:06]
