Roman Reigns Given Shocking WWE Nickname In Fiery CM Punk Promo After Elimination Chamber

The main event of WWE WrestleMania 42 is now officially set in stone as Roman Reigns will be facing CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship on Night Two of the event.

After winning the Royal Rumble, Roman didn’t waste any time in making his choice as he announced his decision on the following episode of Monday Night RAW.

The match was somewhat thrown in jeopardy after CM Punk accepted Finn Balor’s title challenge for WWE Elimination Chamber, but the Voice of the Voiceless overcame the challenge and emerged victorious.

CM Punk had some harsh words following WWE Elimination Chamber

After winning his match against Balor, Punk made his way to the post-show press conference, where he was asked about Roman Reigns and his post on X, which he made after Punk’s victory.

Roman called out Punk in his X post, stating that he should enjoy his last month in relevance. The World Heavyweight Champion responded fiercely to Reign’s comments and called him ‘Rusty Reigns.’

He’s got time to tweet, but he doesn’t have time to come to Chicago. Listen, Roman Reigns, second-highest arena gate in company history. And you’re not number one either, 19,346 people showed up in Chicago because I’m a fighting champion. And I will travel to Las Vegas. And yeah, I’m gonna be tired, and yeah, I’m gonna be beat up, and I’m gonna be bandaged. But that keeps me sharp, on the edge, where I need to be. And for me, the action is the juice. You can sit at home, and we’re gonna call you Rusty Reigns when you show up in Las Vegas. And I got a GTS for you and every one of your stupid family members,” Punk said.

Roman Reigns and CM Punk will come face-to-face with each other on this coming episode of WWE RAW ahead of their first-ever singles match at WrestleMania 42.
