Roman Reigns To Defend WWE Universal Title At Elimination Chamber

Roman Reigns has had a turbulent few weeks but now The Tribal Chief knows he will be putting his championship on the line at the Elimination Chamber.

Things fell apart for The Bloodline after Roman Reigns successfully defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble. Still not satisfied with Sami Zayn’s position in the group, Reigns ordered Zayn to layout Owens with a chair after The Bloodline had decimated Owens and handcuffed him to the ropes after his match.

A conflicted Sami Zayn stepped forward and made his choice as he cracked the chair into the back of Roman Reigns. Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa then pounced on Zayn but Jey Uso – who had originally been most upset by Zayn’s presence in the group – could only walk away and has since indicated he might be done with his family.

On SmackDown in Greenville, South Carolina, Reigns took to the ring to deliver a State of The Bloodline address. As he accused even those loyal to him of demanding more from The Tribal Chief, Sami Zayn attacked sending Reigns running to the floor. Zayn then told Reigns that he never wanted anything from him, until now, and challenged him for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Jimmy Uso and Sikoa once again attacked Zayn before Reigns told his new challenger that he will beat him in front of his family at the Elimination Chamber which takes place in Zayn’s hometown of Montreal.
