Rikishi Calls For WWE Or AEW To Sign Free Agent

Rikishi already has three sons working for WWE and he wants another family member to get hired there or in AEW.

The Bloodline stable in WWE led by the “Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns has dominated the Smackdown brand since Reigns won the Universal Title on August 30, 2020. In the three and a half years since then, Reigns has continued his dominance as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

Joining Reigns in The Bloodline currently are his cousins Jimmy Uso & Solo Sikoa along with the “Wise Man” Paul Heyman, who has been a close friend of the Anoi’a family for over 30 years. Jey Uso was also in the group until he broke free on his own in the summer of 2023.

Rikishi is a WWE Hall of Famer who is the father of the twin brothers Jimmy & Jey Uso along with their younger brother Solo Sikoa.

Another prominent wrestler in the family is Jacob Fatu, who is the son of the Tonga Kid, who is Rikishi’s twin brother. That means Jacob is Rikishi’s nephew and first cousin of both Usos and Sikoa. That also means he is a cousin of Reigns and certainly could be part of The Bloodline stable.

On Twitter/X, Rikishi made it known that he wanted WWE to also sign Jacob Fatu, who is a former MLW Champion.

Is Jacob Fatu Really A Free Agent?

Following Rikishi’s tweet, fans were questioning if the 31-year-old Jacob Fatu is a free agent. There had been past reports that he had been signed to a long-term contract by Major League Wrestling, but that apparently isn’t true.

It has been reported by Bodyslam.net’s Cassidy Haynes that Jacob Fatu is a free agent. Jacob worked for MLW from 2019 to 2024 and is a former MLW World Heavyweight Champion.

Even though Jacob Fatu is no longer under MLW contract, he will still be at the company’s tapings this weekend, where he will wrestle Yuji Nagata in Philadelphia on Saturday, February 3rd.
