Ric Flair Issues Warning To AEW Star

Ric Flair makes AEW entrance

Ric Flair has warned one AEW star that he’s risking problems with The Nature Boy.

On the October 18th edition of Dynamite, Sting announced that his days in the ring would be coming to an end at Revolution in March 2024. In the following days, Tony Khan decided to mark the announcement with a gift for the veteran star.

The present was unveiled the following week, and it was the AEW debut of Sting’s old friend, Ric Flair. The Icon and the Nature Boy hugged in the ring and began reminiscing about their lengthy history together going all the way back to 1988 and their time in NWA.

The reunion was soon interrupted by Christian Cage, who blasted Flair, saying he knows that the legendary star isn’t dead, but “if there was a God then Ric Flair would have been dead 20 years ago.”

Flair has now taken to social media to warn the TNT Champion that he shouldn’t make things “about him” as he’s only there to support Sting on the last leg of his career.

“Don’t Make The Mistake Of Making It About Me @Christian4Peeps! I’m Along For The Ride. I’m Here To Support My Friend @Sting! If You Continue To Make It About Me, We’re Going To Have A Problem! WOOOOO!”

Cage, Luchasaurus, and Nick Wayne are set to face Sting, Darby Allin, and a partner of their choosing at Full Gear on November 18th. While Sting approached Adam Copeland to be their partner, he refused, stating that he didn’t want to fight his best friend.
