Real Reason Rhea Ripley & Jade Cargill’s Social Media Feud Turned Very Real

Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley and Jade Cargill might not like each other but how has WWE reacted to their heated social media spat?

A quick glance at X/Twitter will no doubt have WWE fans coming across an increasingly heated exchange between WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill, Chelsea Green, and Piper Niven.

Chelsea Green made a comment about Rhea Ripley being well respected, to which Ripley’s WrestleMania opponent, Cargill, replied in mocking tones. Piper Niven entered the chat, mocking Cargill for her supposed vacations and extended time off. Any dignity that the WWE Women’s Champion might have hoped to escape the exchange with ended when Niven promptly told her to “Lick my ring ya boot.”

Rhea Ripley seemingly indicated that her issues with Cargill might be very real as she made allusions to not being friends on another post.

Rhea Ripley & Jade Cargill Went From Playful To Heated

Fightful Select has now offered a new report on the situation. Sources believe that the back and forth started as a “playful work” which then took a turn when Cargill mentioned Ripley speaking to the creative team, insinuating she was politicking. That’s when things got serious.

WWE sources were puzzled about the mention of creative to further a feud. However, generally, the company was happy with the buzz that the situation created. It was said that there was no concern in WWE about having the two stars work together.

In relation to the reports that the whole situation is a work, one source in WWE creative noted “we would never include a mention of creative as a part of that, it undermines the point.”

Piper Niven’s comments about vacations were a reference to rumours that Jade Cargill didn’t want to work the 2024 Holiday Tour due to her own planned vacation. The report noted that Cargill did suffer a legitimate injury around this time as well.

There is believed to be no heat on anybody from the WWE office as a result of the situation.
