WWE has many big names on their roster currently and it becomes difficult for every wrestler to be featured in meaningful segments at all times. The lack of television time has seen many wrestlers leave the promotion in pastures new.

Most recently, Karrion Kross and Scarlett chose to run down their contracts instead of signing new ones as they were satisfied with how the promotion was using either of them.

However, not all wrestlers choose to leave the promotion after being dissatisfied by their booking. Former WWE champion, Angel Garza, is not neccesarily the first name in the writer’s room, but he chose to re-sign with the promotion in 2024.

Garza explains reasons behind WWE deal

Garza hasn’t been featured regularly on WWE television since making the move up to the main roster. He is currently in a tag team with his cousin, Berto, and the two are known as Los Garza. The duo have featured more on sister promotion AAA over the past year.

They even became World Tag Team Champions last year, but before their recent return during a tag team turmoil match on SmackDown, the duo weren’t seen on WWE TV for a while.

Garza recently took to X to ask fans for this support where one fan questioned him over his decision of resigning with the firm in 2024 as he could’ve been a star in Mexico. He explained that he wouldn’t earn as much in Mexico and that plays a big factor considering he has a family to support.

Garza and Berto gave an incredible performance during the tag team turmoil match, but were defeated in the final bout against R-Truth and Damian Priest, who went on to become WWE Tag Team Champions later.
