Possible AEW In-Ring Return Date For Adam Page Revealed

'Hangman' Adam Page

After a few weeks of teasing, it would seem that we have a likely date for Adam Page’s return to action, as well as an opponent.

‘Hangman’ Adam Page has been keen to get his hands on Jon Moxley since the pair’s AEW World Championship match on the 18th October 2022 edition of Dynamite. The match was cut short when Page picked up a serious injury, and the decision was made by the referee and medics to stop the contest.

At the start of December Adam Page made his return, and the fact that Moxley had since lost the title to MJF didn’t change his line of sight, as he went straight after the man who put him out of action. After a number of attacks, Page was being told on screen that he couldn’t get involved in any more physical confrontations before being medically cleared.

However, Mox has now given Page a date to aim for by challenging him to a match when AEW heads to the Los Angeles Forum.

The challenge was laid down for AEW Rampage: New Year’s Smash, which would be filmed on 11th January and then air two days later. This had the condition that ‘Hangman’ gets his medical clearance in time for the match.

Although there is no official confirmation that Adam Page has already been cleared to return, it is likely he either has or AEW are confident that there is enough time for him to be ready for the match or the storyline wouldn’t be running with such a specific timeframe.

There are already two matches confirmed for the taping on 11th January, as Dynamite will feature the final of the Best Of Seven series between The Elite and Death Triangle, whilst Saraya will team with an as-yet unnamed partner to take on AEW Women’s Champion Jamie Hayter and Dr. Britt Baker DMD.
