“Don’t Eff This Up” – Paul Heyman Warned WWE Star Before Joining The Vision
This WWE star got the opportunity to join one of the company’s biggest factions and was forewarned before he started working in it.
Paul Heyman has been the orchestrator and leader of WWE’s top heel faction, The Vision. The original members of the faction included Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
However, Rollins was ousted from the faction and got written off TV to get shoulder surgery, and Logan Paul and, later, Austin Theory were recruited as members.
Austin Theory had returned to WWE after a hiatus and was revealed to be the masked man terrorizing babyfaces on Raw. Once the reveal was done, Theory was put to the test by Heyman and was asked to win a match and prove himself. Theory obliged and did just that, thus getting himself officially recruited.
Now with Bron Breaker and Bronson Reed out due to injuries, Logan Paul and Austin Theory have had to carry the faction forward, and they ended up winning the World Tag Team Titles from The Usos.
Their next order of action will be to take on The Usos and LA Knight by teaming up with internet celebrity IShowSpeed in a six-man tag team match at WrestleMania 42 to settle scores in an ongoing feud with Knight and The Usos.
Ahead of his WrestleMania 42 program, Theory appeared on The Unlikely podcast with Adrian Hernandez and talked about joining The Vision faction under Paul Heyman.
Austin Theory Recalls Paul Heyman Warning Upon Joining The Vision
Paul Heyman is a cunning genius and doesn’t stop for anything short of greatness when recruiting stars for his factions by taking them under his wing.
He represents some of the biggest stars in WWE, including The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar.
When asked about his time working with Logan Paul and Paul Heyman, Theory gave some insight into what Paul Heyman was expecting of him upon joining The Vision.
Theory says that Heyman asked him not to “eff up” the opportunity that he was being given, and he decided to take it very seriously.
Surprised me I think there’s always a surprise. There’s always something going on but I’ll leave you with this. One thing Heyman told me at the beginning of all this is don’t eff this up. So when the goat tells you that you don’t eff it up and when you know he’s backing you that means your foot is all the way down on the pedal and we’re going full speed.
Heyman is a veteran as both a manager and a former wrestling booker and promoter. It would be interesting to see the direction The Vision will take after WrestleMania 42.
