WWE’s Paige Reveals Heartbreaking Story After Her Private Tape Leak

The current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, Paige, recalled how she was called a p***star after her private videos were leaked years ago.

After a brief run in AEW under the name ‘Saraya,’ Paige finally made her long-anticipated return to the WWE at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. The former Divas Champion was announced as the replacement for Nikki Bella, as Nikki was injured for the women’s tag title four-way match. Paige teamed with Brie Bella to capture the women’s tag team championships, as they defeated the teams of Bayley and Lyra Valkyrie, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, and The Irresistible Forces.

While Paige is one of the most talked-about stars right now, she still couldn’t get over the horrific incident she suffered back in 2017, as her private NSFW tapes were leaked, which also involved Xavier Woods and Brad Maddox. Unfortunately, Paige still faces trolls regarding the incident even after years.

Paige opened up about a horrifying incident from years ago after the tape leaked

Paige appeared on the What’s Your Story? with Steph McMahon podcast, where she recalled how she kept the incident in the back of her mind:

I kept that in the back of my mind [to not stress], even though it is very hard to live by,” Paige said, evoking laughter from Stephanie McMahon. “But I kept that in the back of my mind.”

Paige further recalled how she was called a “p***star” by a drunk person at a bar when the tapes were leaked. The former Divas Champion revealed how she broke down in tears following the incident at the club because she feared she would be remembered for the leaked tapes:

Just walking in the street, I was very embarrassed. And then I remember, I was at this bar with my friends — not drinking — I was eating, and someone who was drunk came up to me and said, ‘oh, you’re the f**king p***star,’ and I froze. I ran into the bathroom, cried my eyes out. I sobbed, because I thought that’s what I was going to be remembered for,” Paige recalled.

Meanwhile, Paige is the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside Brie Bella, and fans will have to wait and see what’s next for the former Divas Champion.
