Paige Finally Addresses Her Surprise WWE Return At WrestleMania 42

The first half of WrestleMania 42 is now officially in the history books as Night One of the event just concluded with Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton going to war with one another.

Cody successfully retained his Undisputed WWE Championship in the main event, which surprised much of the WWE Universe, but it wasn’t the only surprise in store for them tonight.

The first title change of the night saw new Women’s Tag Team Champions be crowed as Brie Bella teamed with a returning Paige, who replaced Nikki Bella in the match, to win the tag team titles.

Paige responds to her long-awaited WWE return

Following the conclusion of the show, the Bella Twins and Paige made an appearance on the post-show press conference where they were talking about their match and Paige’s surprising return.

Big E asked Paige about her return to the promotion, eight long years after leaving the company and questioned her whether returning to company was always the plan for the Anti-Diva.

WWE is my home, I was raised here, I’m a WWE girl forever, and a Total Diva.” Paige responded.

One half of the newly crowned Women’s Tag Team Champion reaffirmed her loyalty to the Stamford-based promotion during her first interview since her return, much to the joy of the fans in attendace.
