WWE Legend Nikki Bella Rejects Baywatch Audition Over Swimsuit Requirement

Nikki Bella turned down a major opportunity outside of WWE.

The Fearless One returned to the Stamford-based company last year for another full-time run. However, she has suffered multiple setbacks over the past few months.

While she was reportedly set to fight Liv Morgan at Evolution, the Judgment Day member sustained an injury, forcing WWE to scrap the plans.

The Hall of Famer also suffered an injury last July as her implants were dislocated following an elbow drop from Piper Niven on RAW. Although she later returned and reunited with her twin sister, Brie, who made a comeback at Royal Rumble, Nikki sustained another injury ahead of WrestleMania 42.

The Bella Twins were scheduled to fight for the Women’s Tag Team Title at the Show of Shows before Nikki broke her ankle during a tag team match on SmackDown. Paige later replaced her at WrestleMania to win the championship with Brie.

Nikki Bella Had A Major Non-WWE Opportunity

While Nikki Bella continues to perform on the highest level in WWE, she also had the opportunity to audition for the new Baywatch reboot series, which is set for the 2026-2027 season on Fox.

During a recent episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, the former Divas Champion revealed that she turned down the audition because she did not feel comfortable wearing a red swimsuit all day long.

For instance, I had an audition for Baywatch. I ended up not doing it because I knew that I would not be comfortable wearing, if I was to get it, I would not be comfortable wearing a red swimsuit 24/7 because I am not confident yet in a swimsuit. So, I didn’t do it. [28:41 onwards]

Nikki Bella appeared in a few movies and TV shows earlier in her career, including Psych, Confessions of a Womanizer, and Happy Gilmore 2.
