Next WWE Signing’s Free Agent Status Confirmed

Triple H WWE Performance Center

It has now been confirmed that one WWE-bound star is on their way out of their current promotion but won’t be seen by WWE fans just yet.

Giulia is one of Stardom’s biggest stars in recent years and is still the current NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion but her time in the promotion is coming quickly to an end.

Tokyo Sports has now reported that Giulia is definitely leaving Stardom at the end of March having informed Bushiroad of her decision in late 2023.

Giulia Heading To WWE But Not Yet

However, Giulia will not be heading directly to WWE but will instead remain in Japan for some time as part of Rossy Ogawa’s new promotion. Stardom’s founder Ogawa was fired by Stardom after allegations of talent poaching emerged.

Wrestling’s politics were in plain sight as AEW boss Tony Khan celebrated Ogawa’s firing while making allusions to “corporate espionage.” Khan’s response might explain why AEW refused to even make a contract offer to Giulia which surprised many at the time.

WWE could well have a working relationship with Ogawa’s new promotion with Giulia eventually heading to the US after helping to get the new promotion on its feet.
