MJF Set To Receive Incredible Award

MJF AEW World Champion

MJF is the longest reigning AEW World Champion in company history and he’s also going to receive another tremendous award to wrap up 2023.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman (aka MJF) has been the AEW World Champion for the past 13 months. That incredible title reign has seen MJF defend that championship against the best of AEW including Bryan Danielson, Jay White, Samoa Joe, Kenny Omega, Adam Cole and many others.

In addition to holding the AEW World Title as the unquestionable top star in the company, MJF has also been the ROH Tag Team Champion with Adam Cole as well.

For the last couple of years, MJF has also teased the “Bidding War of 2024” regarding his free agent status. However, there is a belief from WWE’s side that MJF has re-signed with AEW. MJF rarely mentions the “bidding war” any more, so that likely means that rumors of Max re-signing with AEW are the truth.

On Twitter/X, MJF revealed another special honor coming his way because he’s going to be inducted into the Jewish Sports Hall of Fame on Monday, December 18th in Commack, New York.

Considering MJF is just 27 years old, it’s obviously a big deal for him to be honored by the Jewish community for his incredible run in AEW.

Who Is MJF Wrestling At AEW Worlds End?

The final AEW pay-per-view of 2023 is called Worlds End and it’s taking place in Friedman’s hometown of Long Island, NY. At that show, Max will defend his AEW World Title against Samoa Joe, who has recently been a tag team partner of MJF as well.

On the December 6th episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF was laid out by some mystery attackers. That led to MJF missing the December 13th episode of Dynamite.

While MJF was absent from Dynamite this week, he did appear on at the premiere of the “Iron Claw” movie with John Cena and WWE’s Liv Morgan, among others.
