MJF has recalled a funny story involving a man he has wrestled many times and will do so again on an upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman returned to AEW at the All Out pay-per-view wearing a mask and winning the Casino Battle Royal thanks to help from a group known as The Firm. Thanks to that contract, MJF can “cash in” for a shot at the AEW World Title, which is currently held by three-time AEW World Champion Jon Moxley.

During the AEW Dynamite Grand Slam broadcast on September 21, MJF got into a promo battle with Wheeler Yuta, who made it clear he did not like the cocky, scarf-wearing MJF. The rivalry between MJF and Yuta continued on the September 28th episode of Dynamite with more words exchanged leading to Yuta attacking MJF in a private skybox at the show.

AEW launched as a company in January 2019, but MJF and Yuta wrestled prior to that as well. On May 4th, 2018, MJF tweeted about Yuta forcing him to watch matches of a former wrestler.

“Last night an intoxicated wheeler Yuta kicked in my hotel door half naked and jumped into my bed and forced me to watch viscera matches. I can’t make this stuff up. Poor people are wild.”

Viscera was one of the biggest WWE superstars of all time. At one point he was known as “The World’s Largest Love Machine” due to a “Viscagra” move where he humped his opponents on the mat. Fans may also remember him as 1995 King of the Ring winner Mabel.

After that 2018 MJF tweet was shared again, MJF quote tweeted it.

MJF and Yuta will face off in singles action this coming Wednesday, October 5th on Dynamite. It will be MJF’s first match in AEW in nearly five months going to back to Double or Nothing in May.
