Missing AEW Star Wants To Stay For “A Very, Very Long Time”

One AEW star that hasn’t been seen in a while still wants a future with the company.

On a packed roster of talent, there is only so much TV time to go around even with the addition of Collision every Saturday night. As a result, some stars have found themselves used more in the Tony Khan-owned Ring of Honor and Sonny Kiss is one of them.

Speaking on the LGBT Sports Podcast, Sonny Kiss says she hopes to be part of AEW for a long time to come and that she hopes for more chances to connect with the audience than competing on Ring of Honor:

“I would love to be with AEW for a very, very long time. I would love to have more storylines and presentation on television. Doing more stuff so that the fans can connect with me more because I’m not able to reach them as much just doing Ring of Honor once in a while.

“Hopefully, I can do a fun storyline. I would love to do more wrestling stuff and more physical stuff and really blaze my own trail in a way that I haven’t in AEW.”

When did Sonny Kiss last compete in AEW?

Sonny Kiss joined AEW back in 2019 but has only competed on TV on nine occasions with most of her matches in the company coming on the axed Dark and Elevation YouTube shows.

Kiss last competed in an AEW ring back in March 2023 when she teamed with Trustbusters partner Jeeves Kay in a loss to the Iron Savages. Since then Sonny Kiss has featured on Ring of Honor shows but is yet to pick up a win. Her last outing saw her team with Kay and Slim J in a loss to Dalton Castle and The Boys in July 2023.
