Miro says he doesn’t have much say when it comes to what brand he works for in AEW.

After being absent from the company for months, Miro made his in-ring return on AEW Collision, scoring a victory over Tony Nese. The star last competed at AEW All Out in September, and was seen approaching Tony Khan’s office on the May 10th episode of Dynamite, signaling that he was about to return.

Ahead of Collision, The Redeemer spoke to Good Karma Wrestling and was asked who he’d like to work with on the show. Miro made it clear that he’ll take on any opponent, and also said he doesn’t have the clout to choose his own opponents.

“I really don’t care. I don’t have that pull. I just show up, I beat people, whatever they tell me. I write my promos, I deliver my promos, everything else is up to him, to the man who sits on top of that chair. I’m not that guy, ‘Oh, I want to work with this guy or that guy.’ No, give me your best, I’ll take them all. It’s all about the story and how you get these. Let’s get there in a way where people are going to be intrigued and have a good match after.”

Elsewhere in the interview, the star spoke about “aching” to return to the ring during his absence from the company, saying he wasn’t getting answers ahead of his eventual return. He also took to social media recently to scold a fan who said Collision would be “terrible.”
