Major WWE Title Match Confirmed For WrestleMania 42 On RAW

WWE RAW made another huge step on the Road to WrestleMania 42 tonight in TD Garden, where long-time rivals Becky Lynch and AJ Lee came face-to-face once again.

Becky lost her Women’s Intercontinental Championship to AJ Lee at the Elimination Chamber last month, and she returned last week to attack the champion from behind.

Tonight, Lynch came out to the ring and called out Lee, stating that she’s the better of the two. Becky was badmouthing the Women’s Intercontinental Champion before AJ’s music hit.

AJ Lee ran straight down the ring and headed right for Becky Lynch, but The Man snuck out of the ring and went away into the crowd, away from The Black Widow.

Frustrated, Lee stood atop the announce table and stated that while she knows what Becky is doing, that won’t stop her from tapping her out once again and challenged Lynch to a match at WWE WrestleMania 42.

Lynch laughed as she stood in the crowd and claimed that Lee fell right into her trap. She stated that Lee might have been the best wrestler in the past, but WrestleMania is her playground, and she accepted AJ’s challenge.
