Logan Paul Credits Former WWE Champion For Helping Him Learn About Performing In WWE
Logan Paul has been praised heavily following a great “rookie year” in WWE and he is crediting a former World Champion for being a big help to him.
Over the last year, Logan Paul has really impressed a lot of people in WWE. While he lost his last two singles matches to Seth “Freakin” Rollins at WrestleMania last weekend at Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel last November, it’s important to remember that Logan has looked more than capable against those two future WWE Hall of Famers.
What’s amazing about Logan’s performances is that he only had five matches in WWE over the course of his “rookie year” in the company.
For his first two matches in WWE, Logan Paul was involved with The Miz. At WrestleMania 38 one year ago, they teamed up to beat Rey & Dominik Mysterio. After the match, The Miz dropped Logan with a Skull Crushing Finale. That led to Logan getting his revenge at SummerSlam 2022 by picking up his first singles in WWE when he beat the former two-time WWE Champion The Miz.
During an interview with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, Logan Paul was asked who helped him in WWE and also credited The Miz for helping him a lot.
“They all have. A few come to mind. I want to say Miz, honestly. He’s so cool and has helped me understand just how this industry works and has even entered the WWE in a similar way to me. He was a reality star and he had to show that he was that guy.”
“Anytime I have a question or I do something personally fulling in WWE, I’ll shoot Miz a text because he walked me through that first match and I crushed it just because I had a good coach.”
Recently, Logan Paul revealed that his WWE contract expired at this year’s WrestleMania, but it is believed that he has re-signed a new deal with the company.
