Logan Paul recently opened up about something that Vince McMahon said to him.

Logan Paul has become a mainstay on the red brand in WWE and can be seen weekly on Raw as part of the heel faction The Vision, led by Paul Heyman.

Paul, a celebrity with a massive YouTube subscriber base, is a former boxer who has had professional fights and is now fully committed to pro-wrestling after having found his groove in the art form.

Logan Paul has the physique and the mic skills of a wrestler, but it wasn’t until later that he realised that WWE is where it’s at for him.

The Maverick, as he is called in WWE, mostly plays an underhanded heel. He is currently one half of the World Tag Team Champions, and his next order of action is going into WrestleMania 42 to compete in a six-man tag team match alongside his Vision teammate Austin Theory and fellow influencer IShow Speed against the team of LA Knight and The Usos.

Logan Paul sat down with Stephanie McMahon on her What’s Your Story? podcast and talked about what her father Vince McMahon said to him that rings true now, but it’s something he wasn’t aware of back then.

Vince McMahon Convinced Logan Paul That He Was Meant For Wrestling

Paul is a multi-talented individual, but Stephanie McMahon, in their interview, tells Paul that she was sure he had what it took for pro-wrestling.

Most celebrities dabble with the idea by making special appearances in wrestling shows, but Paul has now taken it to the next level by becoming a full-timer in WWE.

He recalls that Vince McMahon had once told him that his future was in WWE. Stephanie tells Paul that she knew right away as well, on looking at him, but Paul didn’t believe it himself until he later had an epiphany after McMahon’s initial statement.

I didn’t see it at all. It wasn’t until after our first WrestleMania that I came backstage, and your dad was like, “Your future is here,” or something like that.

I was like “ok buddy. We’ll see about that.”

And then I went right to the locker room, and I saw myself doing the frog splash and all these moves with the Miz, I was like “Yo! I look like a wrestler! This is Crazy!

I was buying it. I was buying what I was selling in that ring, I was like “holy sh*t. Maybe Vince was right.” (9:21 onwards)
