Liv Morgan Strips Charlotte Flair Of WWE Nickname
Liv Morgan did not let the chance of applying salt to Charlotte Flair’s wounds slide.
The WWE Women’s World Champion clashed with the 14-time Women’s Champion in the semi-finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament on SmackDown.
However, before their high-stakes match, Flair was confronted backstage by the trio of Jade Cargill, B-Fab, and Michin, who attacked her left leg, leaving her at a disadvantage.
Liv Morgan made sure to capitalize on Flair’s disability, attacking her injured leg even before the bell went off. The 32-year-old superstar dominated the bout by regularly working on Flair’s leg, even applying submissions whenever the opportunity presented itself.
The match was briefly paused, resulting in Charlotte’s tag partner, Alexa Bliss, and SmackDown GM Nick Aldis coming out and speaking to her about relinquishing her spot.
However, Flair opted to continue. Shortly afterward, Morgan hit her with Oblivion for a shockingly near pinfall. The champion then applied the single-leg Boston Crab submission to make The Queen tap out.
Flair later took to X, calling herself ‘the people’s queen.’ Fans supportively responded in the comments section, calling out the disadvantage due to the pre-match attack on her.
Morgan, on the other hand, reposted Flair’s tweet on her account, claiming the title for herself.

Liv Morgan Unsuccessfully Tries To Secure Favor From Danhausen
Danhausen continues to remain the go-to guy for WWE wrestlers who want a favor or two to advance in their storylines.
In the past, the 35-year-old has “cursed” the likes of The Miz, Kit Wilson, and the “Original” El Grande Americano (Chad Gable).
Days before Liv Morgan won her semi-finals match against Charlotte Flair, it was her beau Dominik Mysterio’s time to advance in the King of the Ring tournament by beating Oba Femi.
In order to secure a favor for “Dirty Dom,” Morgan approached Danhausen backstage on the June 15 edition of WWE Raw and requested that he curse Femi.
In response, Danhausen put forward a list of demands, including ‘human monies,’ the opportunity to star in Morgan’s music video, a song written about him, magazine covers, etc.
Thinking of it as pointless, Morgan left, which meant Dominik was on his own against The Ruler.
Later in the night, Mysterio suffered an overwhelming loss despite receiving help from his Judgment Day stablemate, JD McDonagh.
In the closing minutes, Femi tossed Dominik across the ring before hitting his Fall From Grace finisher for the victory. He will face Jey Uso in the final, who defeated Je’Von Evans on SmackDown.
