WWE star Jacob Fatu issues a big statement
Jacob Fatu has emerged as the biggest threat to Roman Reigns’ World Heavyweight Championship following WrestleMania 42. While The OTC managed to defeat Fatu at Backlash 2026, it was the latter who stood tall to end the night.
The animosity between the two real-life Bloodline members is so high that only a Tribal Combat can settle things, once and for all. While speaking on ESPN’s SportsCenter, Jacob Fatu stated that he is walking out of Clash in Italy as the champion.
Man, the only difference is we’re doing the rematch, tapping in, following the code of the bloodline rules, and I’m definitely walking out this time heavyweight champion. [0:20 onwards]
During the same interview, The Samoan Werewolf broke character and heaped praise on Roman Reigns, calling him the “greatest of all time.”
You know what? If we could just pull the curtain back just a little bit, besides everything else, it’s an honor, and I wouldn’t have it no other way. Since I’ve been here in WWE, it’s been a lot of first times that I’ve been a part of everything. So for us to go for the very first time, PLE in Italy against one of the greatest of all time, Roman Reigns, man, it doesn’t get no better at Clash in Italy.
Can Jacob Fatu get the job done against Roman Reigns? Only time will tell.
