Kazuchika Okada’s Stunning AEW Earnings Leaked

Kazuchika Okada makes his entrance at Forbidden Door

Details of Kazuchika Okada’s AEW contract have been revealed.

After leaving New Japan Pro-Wrestling following the expiration of his contract, Kazuchika Okada became arguably the most high-profile wrestling free agent on the planet. However, the Japanese legend wasn’t a free agent for long.

The star walked out on the March 6th episode of AEW Dynamite ending speculation around his future.

On the show, The Young Bucks announced that Adam Page was suspended for his actions at Revolution, while Kenny Omega was fired from The Elite. This brought out Eddie Kingston, but he was quickly attacked by the Jackson brothers. With the beatdown in full swing, Okada’s music hit and he made his way to the ring, but instead of helping Kingston, he flattened him with The Rainmaker.

Kazuchika Okada Signs Monster AEW Contract

Following the star’s full AEW debut (his previous appearances came while under NJPW contract) details about his new deal have gone public. According to a report from Tokyo Sports, Kazuchika Okada has signed a three-year deal worth two billion yen. This works out at just over $4 million per year.

Okada will wrestle his first match as part of the AEW roster on the March 9th episode of Collison. On the show, the former NJPW star will team with The Young Bucks against three unnamed opponents.
