Kenny Omega Reacts To Bizarre Firing On AEW Dynamite

Kenny Omega

The Young Bucks have been running mad with power in recent weeks and now the EVPs may have gone too far again as they fired Kenny Omega from The Elite.

The Young Bucks had a chance to win the AEW Tag Team Championship and inflict the first loss in the AEW career of Sting in The Icon’s final match at Revolution. However, The Bucks came up short as Sting put a bow on his legendary career picking up one final win.

This clearly caused The Young Bucks to be in a bad mood when Dynamite came to Duluth, Georgia as they promised a huge announcement on the show. The Bucks took aim at their Elite partners, suspending Adam Page for attacking referees at Revolution and firing Kenny Omega from The Elite due to him being out of action in recent months.

The former AEW World Champion last competed in December 2023 with Kenny Omega out of action ever since with a serious illness.

However, The Bucks had bigger plans in mind that were revealed when Eddie Kingston confronted the crazed pair. With Matthew & Nicholas Jackson set to attack, Kazuchika Okada’s music hit and he made his way to the ring, revealing himself to be part of the AEW roster.

Okada stood side by side with Kingston before dropping the Continental Crown Champion with a Rainmaker. The Young Bucks then revealed Okada was the newest member of The Elite.

Taking to social media, Kenny Omega shared a famous meme of himself to display his displeasure about the shocking turn of events:

There is currently no known timeframe for Kenny Omega’s return to the company but it seems The Young Bucks might have some explaining to do when AEW’s third EVP does make his comeback.
