Karrion Kross was absent from the August 4 taping of WWE RAW.

The 40-year-old star featured on Night 1 of SummerSlam on Saturday, where he faced Sami Zayn in a singles match.

Unfortunately, the outcome did not land in his favor, as Zayn hit him with a Helluva Kick for the clean win.

Kross’ recent no-show also became a hot topic of discussion among fans and many wrestling podcasters.

For weeks now, fans have rallied behind him, asking WWE to give Karrion Kross a fair chance.

On the July 7 edition of RAW, the Providence, Rhode Island, crowd broke into a “We Want Kross” chant, the first of many in the coming weeks.

With Kross and Scarlett’s contracts set to end in August, reports had surfaced that they were likely to stay, continuing their newfound feud with Sami Zayn.

However, his loss at SummerSlam tells a different story. In a possible jab at Kross, Triple H even pretended to mishear the “We Want Kross” chants during the SummerSlam Post-Show.

Ex-WWE Star Urges Karrion Kross To Lead An Anti-WWE Movement

Whether Karrion Kross and Scarlett sign with WWE will be revealed soon.

Meanwhile, former WWE star Bully Ray proposed a creative idea during a recent appearance on the Busted Open Podcast, stating Kross could start an anti-WWE movement.

What if Kross took to social media much like Truth did, and says, “The WWE has decided not to renew my contract, right?” And then the Karrion Kross fans are mad, right? And then he speaks, “You know what? I’ll be at Monday Night RAW in the parking lot.” And have Karrion Kross show up to Monday Night RAW in the parking lot with the fans behind him, saying, “You can’t stop the movement. You can’t silence us. You can’t stop us.” I would do that for months. [9:24 onwards]
