Karrion Kross May Return To WWE, But There’s A Catch
Karrion Kross unceremoniously left WWE in August 2025 with his wife, Scarlett, after their contracts expired.
Since then, he has been competing in the independent circuit and is currently signed to Major League Wrestling, where he is the MLW World Heavyweight Champion.
Kross had two stints with WWE, his second occurring between 2022 and 2025.
In his final year, the wrestling community banded together in his support, urging the company’s higher-ups to give him the spotlight.
At the time, he was featured in a long-standing storyline with Sami Zayn, which ended at SummerSlam on Night 1 with a loss. It was also Karrion Kross’ last match in the promotion, as he would depart a week later.
Karrion Kross Might Return To WWE, But Not Full-Time
Many people have noticed how well he has been doing in the indies since leaving WWE. During a recent episode of The Coach & Bro show, a user claimed attending an MLW show and hoped that Karrion Kross could appear at WrestleMania.
To this, Vince Russo said he could return to the company, but it won’t be as a full-time performer.
I would tell you this; matter of fact, I just texted with him yesterday. I’ll tell you this. Now, movies are a part of his career without a shadow of a doubt. So, I would not be surprised to see him at a WrestleMania. I don’t think he would ever go back on a full-time basis again. He’s got too many irons in the fire right now. He’s gotten a taste of acting, which we know is a hell of a lot easier than wrestling.
I think he would go back if it were like a (Roman) Reigns, you know, situation. I don’t think he would drop everything and go back to wrestling full-time. [1:32:49 onwards]
