Jordynne Grace’s Current WWE Status Amid TV Absence

Jordynne Grace has been absent from WWE TV for a while.

Jordynne Grace first gained a lot of traction due to her time in TNA Wrestling. She turned a lot of heads due to her impressive physique, which was different from that of the other women in the locker room. Therefore, WWE came knocking on her door. While she was under her TNA contract, Grace made many appearances on NXT.

Hence, when her contract ended, she left TNA Wrestling and signed with WWE. She became a regular feature on NXT. She was involved in a few storylines before she was moved up to the main roster quickly. However, upon arriving on the main roster, Jordynne Grace has become a forgotten talent in the women’s division. She suffered a minor injury earlier this year, which didn’t make things better. She has been off TV for the past couple of months. Her last televised match took place on the 17th April episode of SmackDown against Tiffany Stratton. Her sudden absence has a lot of fans wondering what happened to the former TNA Knockouts World Champion.

What’s the current WWE status of Jordynne Grace?

During a recent Fightful Select Q&A session, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about Jordynne Grace’s absence from TV. The veteran journalist replied that she’s been busy competing on WWE Main Event. She has also reportedly been backstage at shows. Sean Ross Sapp also reported that the sports entertainment juggernaut flew her in for the show in Lexington, but she flew back before the show began. He also noted that she has not gotten off the ground since her injury earlier this year.

“Where’s Jordynne Grace? Feel like we haven’t seen her on TV in a while. Besides Main Event, she’s been at TVs, she’s been backstage at them. I know Lexington, they flew her in and she was set to fly back before the show was even started. She didn’t get used. She’s been working Main Event a lot. Honestly, she has not got her wheels, like, moving since her injury earlier this year and she’s been just largely off TV ever since then. I don’t get it. Nobody looks like her and wrestles like her and I just always thought it was an easy way to book somebody. But she’s had one SmackDown match since the end of February, since February 28th, one SmackDown match and it was her losing to Tiffany Stratton. She’s worked Main Event a few times. She beat Zelina, she beat Kiana James, but that’s it. And a couple dark matches, I think, but just not. Not being used whatsoever.” [H/T Ringside News]
