Jey Uso Makes Bold Vow After Unscripted WWE RAW Victory
The script was torn up on WWE RAW, and Jey Uso came out as the unlikely winner.
The February 23rd edition of RAW in Atlanta paid tribute to the career of AJ Styles, which came to an end thanks to Gunther at the Royal Rumble. The Undertaker appeared to confirm that Styles would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026.
But while that moment celebrates what is now the past, the present stars had business to take care of on the show. Raquel Rodriguez dominated IYO SKY and Kairi Sane as she secured the final spot in the women’s Elimination Chamber match.
The final spot was also on the line in the men’s Chamber match as Jey Uso, Bronson Reed, and El Grande Americano clashed in a triple threat match. During that bout, Reed broke up a pin attempt and immediately suffered a tear in his bicep. Commentary later confirmed that Bronson Reed was now out of action indefinitely due to the injury.
Jey Uso Makes Elimination Chamber Vow
Reports have noted that Bronson Reed was due to win that match, but thanks to that injury, WWE ripped up the script with Jey Uso picking up the victory instead.
Now, taking to social media, Jey Uso vowed to make the most of his unexpected opportunity as he wrote:
Imma win Elimination Chamber.
If he does, then he’ll be in line to challenge for the WWE Championship currently held by Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 42.
