Jey Uso Reacts To Cody Rhodes’ NSFW Remark On WWE SmackDown

Cody Rhodes made a self-aware joke on SmackDown in the latest episode.

When cutting a scathing promo against WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes acknowledged the intense promo between World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble Match winner, Roman Reigns, on Raw earlier this week.

The American Nightmare said he respects both men and followed it up by saying he heard chatter about a “you-know-what measuring contest” between the two, joking that they’re lucky he’s not a part of it because he didn’t get his nickname “Raheem” for no reason.

For context, Raheem is a nickname that alludes to his father Dusty Rhodes’ style of promos, which is similar to that of black preachers, and also alludes to his relationship with his wife Brandi Reed; the combination of these two things led to his nickname, as reported by Athlonsports.com.

With the World Heavyweight Championship main event now confirmed for WrestleMania 42, it remains to be seen if Rhodes can find his way back to contest for Drew McIntyre’s WWE Title after the latter took Rhodes out of the Royal Rumble match, effectively killing The American Nightmare’s chances.
