Jade Cargill Wanted To Work With Women “Holding The Main Belt” In AEW

Jade Cargill AEW

Jade Cargill admits there were some opponents in AEW that she wanted to face but the opportunity never presented itself.

While Cargill did have a lengthy undefeated streak and multiple defences of the TBS Championship, more often than not the opponents of the champion were either enhancement talents or wrestlers still yet to be established. AEW fans never did get to see the like of Toni Storm, Britt Baker or Hayter go one on one with Cargill as they were involved in the main Women’s Title picture.

Speaking with The Masked Man Show following the announcement of the WWE signing, Cargill was asked if there was anything that she did not accomplish while being a part of AEW. Cargill responded that she did want to have some dream matches on Dynamite or pay-per-view prior to the departure:

“I wish I would have worked with the amazing women who are holding the main belt. That’s one of the things I really wanted to do. A couple of them reached out to me, I wish they would have had that match. I wish so as well. I could have gone on the mic with a lot of those ladies. TV time is short and we have to work with what we got. Of course, I could have had some dream matches before arriving to the grand stage,”
