Jade Cargill Breaks Character To Praise WWE Rival
Jade Cargill recently praised this WWE star.
Jade Cargill is the WWE Women’s Champion, and last year, she had a feud with Naomi, which concluded at WWE Evolution in a No Holds Barred match.
The two had first locked horns in a singles bout before at WrestleMania 41.
In the latest episode of Hawks AF, Cargill tells host DC Young Fly that Naomi was an opponent who brings out the best in her.
You know what? I would say Naomi. We actually had that match here for Evolution. We had a no [holds barred] match where we’re just using trash cans.
I got a camera, hit her in the gut with it. Got a trash cans, put it over her trash head and knocked her in. It was crazy. I would say Naomi. Her character work is extremely good.
Meanwhile, Naomi announced in August last year that she was pregnant with her first child with husband Jimmy Uso. This led her to vacate the Women’s World Title that he had clinched only 36 days prior.
Jade Cargill Will Face Rhea Ripley At WrestleMania 42
The road to WrestleMania is well underway, and Jade Cargill is all set to face Elimination Chamber match winner Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 42, when she’ll be putting her title on the line.
The two women recently got into a Twitter/X war that got personal, with multiple wrestlers taking Ripley’s side against Cargill.
The back and forth served as an advertisement for the bout at Mania, and following the exchange, the two women met face to face this past Friday on SmackDown and cut a promo.
Cargill will be in singles action against Michin next week on SmackDown, and Rhea Ripley will surely be keeping a close watch on The Storm.
