WWE Star Seemingly Confirms Rhea Ripley & Jade Cargill’s Real-Life Feud
Jade Cargill and Rhea Ripley recently got into a heated exchange in a series of posts online.
Ripley won the Elimination Chamber match on Feb 28 and earned the opportunity to face Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42.
In a series of posts that were exchanged on X, the two women took jabs at each other, and things got personal when Cargill accused Ripley of hanging around the WWE creative team for a long time to get all the WrestleMania main event opportunities she’s gotten over the past 6 years consecutively.
This hurt Ripley, who later posted a story on Instagram asking Jade to learn how to work and not defame someone’s character by breaking the fourth wall. Other wrestlers like Chelsea Green, Piper Niven, and Nia Jax also joined the posting in support of Ripley to take jabs at Cargill.
It is being debated whether the Twitter/X war is a work by WWE to promote their match or real-life tensions unfolding on social media.
WWE Star Nattie Gives Her Opinion On Ripley And Cargill’s Feud
Nattie, who works with Ripley on Raw, spoke to Buted Open and explained that Jade Cargill loves to be a heel, and it’s important whether it hurts someone’s feelings or not revealeing that some lines were probably crossed.
She alluded to the feud between Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair that got personal, and it’s something that made her interested in watching their match.
Jade (Cargill) loves to be a heel and I do think the industry — I think we need that, whether it hurts people’s feelings or not, and I do think that we need women to be heels in the presence of storyline. Now, were there lines crossed outside of that?… I’m in that locker room. I share a locker room with Rhea (Ripley). When we get to the TV, it gets very busy. It gets very hectic, chaotic because we’re all doing a million of our own things.
So, it makes me wonder, yeah, it feels reminiscent of Tiffany (Stratton) versus Charlotte (Flair) but, again, I said this to you last year, whatever happened between Tiffany and Charlotte which we ended up watching the whole thing go down on Unreal, it did make me wanna watch their match.
In any case, this is a win for WWE, who will now have more people interested in the feud, and Nattie is one of them, too.
Now, I am racing to buy a ticket to watch what’s gonna happen between Jade and Rhea. I don’t think we all have to get along. I don’t think that we all have to love each other. We do need to respect each other. That is a big thing. But listen, damn, let’s get the Unreal cameras out.”
