Jade Cargill could reach the dizzy heights of Chyna in WWE.
The speculation over Jade Cargill’s future came to an end on the 26th of September when WWE announced that they had signed a multi-year deal with the former AEW star.
Since then voices from the wrestling world have had their say on the switch with Becky Lynch warning the newcomer that there is plenty of work to be done in her new home. Kenny Omega has dismissed a section of fans who insist on having an “us vs. them” mentality when it comes to watching what wrestling they prefer by saying that Cargill is being rooted on by her former colleagues in AEW.
WWE Hall of Famer has high hopes for Jade Cargill in WWE
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray gave his thoughts on the former TBS Champion heading to WWE and said the company is going to turn her into a megastar:
“Jade Cargill has the ‘it factor.’ She’s got the look. She’s got the athletic ability. She has it all. They are going to turn Jade Cargill into a megastar. She needs to be worked on for a couple of months. Maybe a little bit of development.. I hope she’s allowed to keep her name, Jade Cargill. Because she does have a name out there right now.”
“[Cargill has] Chyna-esque potential when talking about a worldwide superstar. Her look is amazing… You are now going to see Jade Cargill used to her maximum potential.”
It remains to be seen which brand Cargill will begin her WWE career on, the star herself says she knows what the plan is but has encouraged fans to tune into every show to find out.
During her time in WWE, Chyna is most well remembered for competing against the male stars of the company and made history by becoming the first woman to enter the Royal Rumble match and the first to hold the Intercontinental Championship.
