Jacy Jayne Set For Another NXT Women’s Championship Defense Next Week

NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne has been a dominant champion since winning the belt back from Tatum Paxley at NXT Gold Rush back in November 2025.

She put her championship on the line tonight against Sol Ruca after she had earned a shot at the title, but the match took an unexpected turn. Before their match could begin, Ruca was attacked by her tag team partner, Zaria.

Zaria turned on her longtime friend following weeks of frustration and cost her an opportunity to become the NXT Women’s Championship tonight as she attacked her with a spear and an F5 before the match, setting her up on a platter for Jacy Jayne.

Jayne took full advantage of this situation and picked up an easy win over Sol Ruca, before gloating about it backstage with the rest of Fatal Influence. However, they were confronted by Zaria shortly afterwards.

Zaria reminded Jayne that she still holds the belt because of her and demanded a championship match next week, which the champion accepted and it was made official by Robert Stone later in the night.
