Massive WWE Star’s Injury Confirmed On SmackDown Before Night Of Champions

Tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown served as the go-home episode for the upcoming Night of Champions Premium Live Event. The PLE in Saudi Arabia will see the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments reach their conclusion.

On the women’s side in the tournament, the Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan, will face IYO SKY after she defeated Charlotte Flair last week to reach the finals of the Queen of the Ring.

The Queen was attacked by Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab before she headed for the match, and the trio heavily injured her knee, which ultimately played a part in the outcome of the match.

Charlotte Flair absent from WWE SmackDown

Following this brutal attack and heartbreaking loss, Flair’s tag team partner, Alexa Bliss, was speaking to Jackie Redmond in an interview backstage, where she provided an update on Flair’s future.

Alexa confirmed that Charlotte is in pain, both physically and emotionally, which caused her to miss tonight’s show. She then vowed to take revenge on Cargill for injuring her tag team partner.

She was joined by Tiffany Stratton following her interview, and the two women agreed to work together tonight against Cargill before going their separate ways.
