Jacob Fatu Officially Turns Heel In New WWE Backstage Promo

The Samoan Werewolf, Jacob Fatu made his heel turn official with his chilling backstage promo after a brutal display on WWE RAW.

Jacob Fatu has been a babyface since he stood up against Solo Sikoa and has been rising as a singles star. After his victory over Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 42, Jacob challenged Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight title. In order to force Roman into giving him a title match, Fatu also used the sacred ‘Tongan death grip’ move, which hinted at a change in his attitude.

At Backlash 2026, Jacob Fatu failed to capture the World title from Reigns but brutally assaulted the champion with a Tongan death grip after the match. In a post-match promo after the PLE went off air, The Samoan Werewolf also sent the following chilling message after destroying Roman:

I told you, don’t get back laid, this is Backlash, and today I just kicked Roman’s a**. I told y’all how wild I am. I’m off the scale with it. I’m raw, I’m cut with it. When’s the last time y’all seen somebody like me crash out on WWE? Nobody! It ain’t how you start, it’s how you finish, and at the end of the day, look at Roman, his punk a**ujust realised I’m all gas, no brakes with it,” [h/t Sportskeeda Wrestling]

WWE star Jacob Fatu has officially turned heel now

This past Monday on RAW, Jacob Fatu showed his vicious side yet again by dismantling The Usos before taking out Roman Reigns yet again. After Fatu left Roman, Jimmy, and Jey lying, fans chanted, “One more time,” as they still seemed confused whether Jacob was a heel or not.

Nonetheless, The Samoan Werewolf refused to listen to the crowd and walked backstage. On his way backstage, Jacob Fatu cut another chilling promo, in which he called the fans ‘suckers’ and said he wouldn’t give them what they want, which makes his heel turn official:

I can’t give them what I want, what they want. They yelling ‘One more time,’ you think I’mma listen to them suckers? I’ve been grinding solo bolo, ain’t nobody ever tapped in with me. So what the hell you think Imma do? huh? I keep trying to tell them I’ve seven kids, I’m responsible for my family that live and breathe. Tap in with me, ’cause I’m really all gas and no f***king breaks with it.” [from 0:24 onwards]
