Injured WWE Star Reacts To “Triple H Is Releasing You” Comment
Injuries are part and parcel of the wrestling world, and unfortunately, WWE star Piper Niven had to go through a devastating one last year.
In August 2025, Niven suffered a neck injury during a match with Charlotte Flair. She has been out of action since then. She recently took to her social media account to inform fans that she had undergone anterior discectomy surgery in California.
She tweeted, “I went to California and all I got was this lousy anterior discectomy. I have so much I want to say about the past 8 months but we can get to that later. For now, I just want to express my endless love and gratitude for every single soul that has helped me and cared for me during this difficult and really scary time.”
“Pain and heartbreak are incredible teachers and the lessons I have learned from this will stay with me forever. I am so grateful to wake up from surgery already feeling better and I know I am coming out the other side of this so much stronger for the experience. Lots of love P x”
The WWE Universe has been very supportive of her during this tough time, with many fans sending warm wishes for her recovery. However, there were also some trolls online who chose to attack her while she was down.

A user on X commented that Triple H is going to release her soon. Niven responded to the tweet, claiming that even if she does get released, she will still live a “great life with her beautiful family.”
Niven replied, “YAAAAASSS I thought that might upset you. Probably, come to us all someday. But even when it does, I’ll still be a real G living a great life in sunny FL with my beautiful family. Enjoy being the bottom of the reproductive barrel forever.”

It is still unclear if and when Niven will return to action, given that her injury was defined as potentially career-threatening.
