Randy Orton appeared in a mysterious segment on WWE Raw.

On the March 16 edition of Monday Night Raw, Orton appeared via satellite, where he was seen on a phone call with a mystery caller. The Apex Predator was heard saying that it was good to see them a few days ago, thanked them, and added that he would see them soon.

Orton then hung up the phone and told Michael Cole that the conversation with “someone with a brain” helped him rediscover his true nature, which is the nature of a killer. The segment ended with Randy Orton quoting the opening line of Cody Rhodes’ theme song, “Wrestling has more than one royal family.”

This mysterious segment has created a lot of buzz online, with fans speculating about who could have been on the other end of the call. Veterans Tommy Dreamer and Dave LaGreca recently shared their thoughts on the segment and predicted who the mystery caller could be.

Shane McMahon Could Return At WrestleMania To Help Randy Orton, Says Tommy Dreamer

Speaking on a recent edition of Busted Open, Dreamer said he initially thought it could be The Rock, but after checking social media, he concluded that 3-time WWE Champion Shane McMahon might have been the one speaking with Randy Orton.

Dreamer added that a potential return by Shane McMahon at WrestleMania would be “massive” and could even lead to him costing Cody Rhodes the Undisputed WWE Championship. This, in turn, could set up a rivalry between Rhodes and Shane, while The Viper moves into a new feud.

“When I heard it, I’m like, he’s talking to Rock. There’s no doubt he’s talking to The Rock. Rock has unfinished business with Cody. Then I’m like, man, there’s no way. But in WWE you can never say no way. Then I’m like, it’s Shane McMahon. Shane McMahon showing up at WrestleMania would be massive.”

“If Shane McMahon gets involved and costs him, because then you go Cody-Shane, because Shane could still go in the ring. And Randy could go wherever he wants.”
