A recent incident on WWE TV has led this legend to believe that The Rock could return sooner rather than later.

The Rock is undoubtedly one of the biggest draws that WWE has.

Despite being a member of the board of directors in TKO Group, the company’s owners, and being neck deep in Hollywood movie projects, The People’s Champion is very much still in high demand in WWE.

The Rock was last seen on television at the Elimination Chamber PLE in 2025 to facilitate a heel turn for John Cena, but abruptly disappeared and hasn’t made an appearance since.

He is currently reportedly working on a film with Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio.

WWE Legend Tommy Dreamer Feels The Rock May Be The One Randy Orton Is Speaking To

Randy Orton turned heel by annihilating Cody Rhodes on SmackDown after the contract signing for their Title match at WrestleMania 42.

The Apex Predator, who earned his WWE Title shot by winning the Elimination Chamber match, left Rhodes in a pool of blood last Friday without any explanation.

This past Monday on Raw, Orton appeared via the titantron to answer some questions Michael Cole had. Orton told Cole that he’s a “killer” and that there’s more than one royal family in wrestling.

Hardcore Legend Tommy Dreamer, who was speaking to Johnathan Coachman on Busted Open, said that he thinks The Viper is referring to none other than the Samoan family of wrestling (Anoa’i) and its most famous member, The Rock.

The Rock had also torn Rhodes apart in a similar fashion before WrestleMania 40 when he assumed his Final Boss persona.

In the clip posted by Busted Open on X, Dreamer gets Coach excited about a possible return for The Great One, telling him that even though Orton could be referencing his own family, as his father, Cowboy Bob Orton, is a legend too, it seems more likely that Orton is talking about The Rock.
