“I Was Shocked” – R-Truth Makes Heartbreaking WWE Confession

R-Truth WWE

R-Truth’s time in WWE for the year 2025 had taken a dire turn, but fans had a different demand that forced WWE to change its decision.

In 2025, the global juggernaut released the WWE veteran. The news claimed that WWE did not want to extend Truth’s contract without pay negotiations.

After he received the call, R-Truth put up a gratitude message on his social media. Fans blew up the message on the platform, and everyone took to demanding that WWE rectify the mistake and bring back Truth to WWE immediately.

He was back in WWE within six days, but this time as Ron Killings.

R-Truth revealed his feelings over the release and social media support

The WWE veteran appeared on The Nikkie & Brie Show, and in that, he was asked about the release and how he felt when the fans overpoured their support.

I’ve never had a post go that high. And the post was a gratitude post. That’s all it was. I wasn’t jaded. I wasn’t mad. I wasn’t angry. I was numb cause I was surprised. I was shocked. And I felt like I owed WWE. I owe the fans some type of, I owed them something because that’s a long ride. To get the response I got was a testament. My son said, “Damn, Dad. It wasn’t, it was worth it, Dad. It wasn’t all for nothing.”

When my son said it wasn’t for nothing, damn, I just broke down because I then started remembering the anniversaries, the birthdays, the standing up doing speeches in school, and uh, the party. I missed a lot. You know what I’m saying? I’ve missed funerals. I’ve missed a lot dedicating myself to the road, to the business for over 25 years.

On WWE Unreal, Triple H revealed that R-Truth was never officially off the roster or out of contract with WWE. Truth announced the release on social media before officially released. However, The Game was supposedly caught in a lie because he had previously claimed the release was a part of the show.
