Huge Update On Royce Keys’ WWE Future
Royce Keys has undesirably become one of the talking points in WWE.
After leaving AEW, Keys made his first appearance for the Stamford promotion at the 2026 Royal Rumble in January.
Entering the match at #14, he earned one elimination, that of Damian Priest, before being eliminated by The Vision’s Bronson Reed after nearly 10 minutes.
Since then, he has not been featured in any match and has yet to make his main roster debut on either Raw or SmackDown.
However, he has been on the road with the wrestlers during SmackDown tapings and competed in dark matches. Royce Keys’ last bout was against Rey Fenix on March 13.
WWE May Have Locked In The Direction For Royce Keys’ Main Roster Debut
Amid worries about his WWE future, reports claimed that Royce Keys was in contention for a match at WrestleMania 42, where he would team up with Grammy Award winner Jelly Roll to take on the pair of The Miz and Kit Wilson.
While Jelly Roll has been feuding with Wilson on the blue brand, Keys has remained absent. A recent report by Wrestling Observer revealed that Keys was not a part of that storyline.
During the March 31 podcast of Self Made Session, Self Made Pro gave a new update on the former AEW star, claiming that WWE may have finally found a direction for Keys to make his debut on the main roster.
All I know about the Hobbs thing is that, I want to say a week or two ago, they told me that they have figured out what his launch is going to be on the main roster from the team. I just know that they claim to me that they have figured out what it’s going to be. [H/T: Ringside News]
