Royce Keys made his WWE debut at the 2026 Royal Rumble on January 31.

He entered at number 14 and eliminated Damian Priest before being eliminated by Bronson Reed. He has yet to make his weekly television debut.

According to a recent report from BodySlam, WWE was planning to team up Keys with singer Jelly Roll at WrestleMania 42 to face The Miz and Kit Wilson. However, a new report from Dave Meltzer claims that this is not the direction WWE is going in.

Royce Keys Isn’t Teaming Up With Jelly Roll At WrestleMania 42

On a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer noted that the one WWE is planning to pair with Jelly Roll against The Miz and Kit Wilson is not Royce Keys.

Meltzer said, “I had asked about the story because there was a story about Royce Keys, and I was told that it’s not Royce Keys, for whatever that’s worth. I wasn’t actually told that there is a match (for Jelly Roll), but when you look at it, I mean, it certainly seems like they’re building it.”

Jelly Roll returned to WWE on the March 13 episode of SmackDown as a guest on Miz TV. He had a confrontation with Kit Wilson, where Wilson mocked the singer’s “unhealthy beauty standard,” which angered Jelly, and he tried to punch him, but Wilson ducked out of the way, and Jelly Roll knocked out The Miz instead.

Jelly Roll wrestled his debut WWE match at SummerSlam 2025, where he faced Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul in a tag team match with Randy Orton. That was also the last match he had in WWE.
