Goldberg Claims Time Wrestling Is “Not Over Yet”

Goldberg yells during his entrance

WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg has opened up on the contests left on his current deal with the company, whilst also making it clear he isn’t done in the ring yet.

Building up an incomparable undefeated streak following his debut in WCW, Goldberg became a top star in the company and soon picked up the World Championship in memorable fashion from Hulk Hogan. When WCW closed its doors, people were right to speculate that ‘The Man’ would make the move to WWE, and he eventually debuted in 2003.

The run didn’t set the world alight like it did in WCW, and the steam seemed to run out altogether following his now infamous match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 20.

12 years later many were shocked that Goldberg returned and also captured the World Championship from ‘The Beast Incarnate’ in short order. He most recently appeared at Elimination Chamber earlier this year, in a losing effort against Roman Reigns.

In an appearance on WWE’s The Bump, Goldberg mentioned that there are currently no matches left on his WWE deal.

Well, I don’t have any matches left on my contract, but I know one way we could take care of him. I do need to give him a little receipt for that little choke-out in Saudi Arabia.

Goldberg went on to discuss how he would be ready to step back in the ring, and doesn’t feel he’s done just yet.

It’s been a long road, no question about it. To the fans, you mean everything to me. The young ones, the old ones, the in-between ones, the guys, the girls, the blacks, the green, I don’t care who you are. I couldn’t be who I am without you. I will be forever grateful for the rest of my days.

My days aren’t done yet. My days may be numbered, but my days are not over with yet. I’ve got a monstrous garage and gym being built that will be done in about a month, and if you think I’m not gonna be living in there the rest of my life, preparing for what’s next, you’re crazy.
