Former Champion Named As WWE’s Next John Cena

Whoever steps up to fill in for John Cena has an excruciatingly difficult task ahead of them.

However, WWE will have to keep pushing the next generation of superstars to find the one who can represent the company on various platforms, put up entertaining matches, and is good on the mic.

Well, it so happens that there is one name that keeps coming up whenever the “next John Cena” is spoken about.

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion picked as the next John Cena

During an interview with TMZ Sports, Maven spoke about Bron Breakker. He claimed that Breakker’s overall appearance, athleticism, running down the ramp, the spears, and everything else make him an interesting watch in WWE.

He revealed seeing The Badass represent the company and push the shows, which was something unexpected.

I saw him representing the company well, too. And I bring that up so much because nowadays it’s so important. You can’t have a mega John Cena-level star if you can’t put these guys out in mainstream and ask them to push our pay-per-view, push our PLE, push our show we have coming up, and you know they’re going to do a good job. You know that they’re going to be well spoken. Bron does that. I wasn’t expecting much out of him [in the ESPN interview], and I left being like, holy cow, he’s somehow the best of Rick [Steiner] and Scott [Steiner] and even improved.

This isn’t the first time Bron Breakker has been named as someone who can fill in John Cena’s shoes in WWE. However, he has also been named as the next Brock Lesnar with a future as big as Roman Reigns’.
